One of the benefits of an outdoor wedding venue is that you can bring your majestic horse along to use in the ceremony! At outdoor wedding venues, horses not only become a beautiful backdrop but also offer a myriad of benefits. Their regal presence immediately elevates the atmosphere, with the serenity of love being celebrated, adding a touch of tranquility to the event. “General” has belonged to this bride’s heart for years. It was perfect to have this country couple enter and exit with each of them taking a turn riding on General during the course of the ceremony.
Horses emphasize the natural beauty of outdoor venues and we work with you to make special requests come to fruition.
It was important to Eli and Anna that their horse was calm for their big day, and that Anna could stay atop the horse in a wedding gown! We provided time for them to come out to practice with General several weeks prior and Eli also practiced lifting Anna onto a side saddle in a gown. We were able to provide a spot for Eli to be on General, and stay in hiding from the guests while the other groomsmen and minister entered. Then Eli came riding up to the arbor to his selected music of “Rhinestone Cowboy.” Horses can be utilized for grand entrances, which Eli did, making for unforgettable moments and picture-perfect photographs. Opting for utilizing their horse at their outdoor wedding is a nod to tradition, romance, and a touch of nature. It definitely ensured a day that was as unforgettable as the love this couple celebrates.
Hearts for People, Ministry, and HORSES!
Having their horse as a part of their ceremony was a bonding experience for all the family and friends. It created an unforgettable fairy-tale tone for their occasion. Horses, especially General, symbolize strength, loyalty, and grace, qualities that beautifully resonate with the essence of marriage.
Anna and Eli met through a college roommate of Anna’s. They both have hearts for people and ministry. Both have had dreams of possibly someday having a horse ranch ministry for lost and hurting people with therapy involved. It was only fitting for them to search for an outdoor venue near Clay Center to have Anna’s horse be a focal point of their joining of lives and dreams.
